ચંદ્રયાન-3 

           ચંદ્રયાન-3 એ ચંદ્રની સપાટી પર સુરક્ષિત ઉતરાણ અને ફરવા માટેશરૂઆત -થી-અંતની ક્ષમતા દર્શાવવા માટે ચંદ્રયાન-2 માટેનું ફોલો-ઓન મિશન છે. તેમાં લેન્ડર અને રોવર ગોઠવણીનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. તે LVM3 દ્વારા SDSC SHAR, શ્રીહરિકોટાથી લોન્ચ કરવામાં આવશે. પ્રોપલ્શન મોડ્યુલ 100 કિમી ચંદ્ર ભ્રમણકક્ષા સુધી લેન્ડર અને રોવર કન્ફિગરેશનને વહન કરશે.

ચંદ્રયાન-3માં સ્વદેશી લેન્ડર મોડ્યુલ (LM), પ્રોપલ્શન મોડ્યુલ (PM) અને રોવરનો સમાવેશ થાય છે જેનો ઉદ્દેશ આંતર ગ્રહોના મિશન માટે જરૂરી નવી ટેકનોલોજી વિકસાવવા અને તેનું પ્રદર્શન કરવાનો છે. લેન્ડરમાં ચંદ્રની ચોક્કસ જગ્યા પર સોફ્ટ લેન્ડ કરવાની ક્ષમતા હશે અને રોવરને તૈનાત કરશે જે તેની ગતિશીલતા દરમિયાન ચંદ્રની સપાટીનું ઇન-સીટુ રાસાયણિક વિશ્લેષણ કરશે. લેન્ડર અને રોવર પાસે ચંદ્રની સપાટી પર પ્રયોગો કરવા માટે વૈજ્ઞાનિક પેલોડ છે. PMનું મુખ્ય કાર્ય એ LM ને લોન્ચ વ્હીકલ ઇન્જેક્શનથી લઈને અંતિમ ચંદ્ર 100 કિમી પરિપત્ર ધ્રુવીય ભ્રમણકક્ષા સુધી લઈ જવાનું છે અને LM ને PM થી અલગ કરવાનું છે. આ ઉપરાંત, પ્રોપલ્શન મોડ્યુલમાં મૂલ્યવર્ધન તરીકે એક વૈજ્ઞાનિક પેલોડ પણ છે જે લેન્ડર મોડ્યુલને અલગ કર્યા પછી સંચાલિત કરવામાં આવશે. ચંદ્રયાન-3 માટે ઓળખાયેલ લોન્ચર GSLV-Mk3 છે જે ~170 x 36500 કિમીના કદના એલિપ્ટિક પાર્કિંગ ઓર્બિટ (EPO)માં એકીકૃત મોડ્યુલ મૂકશે.

ચંદ્રયાન-3 ના મિશન ઉદ્દેશ્યો છે:

ચંદ્ર સપાટી પર સુરક્ષિત અને નરમ ઉતરાણ દર્શાવવા માટે

ચંદ્ર પર ફરતા રોવરનું નિદર્શન કરવા અને

ઇન-situ વૈજ્ઞાનિક પ્રયોગો કરવા.

મિશનના ઉદ્દેશ્યો હાંસલ કરવા માટે, લેન્ડરમાં ઘણી અદ્યતન તકનીકો હાજર છે જેમ કે,

અલ્ટીમીટર: લેસર અને આરએફ આધારિત અલ્ટીમીટર

વેલોસીમીટર: લેસર ડોપ્લર વેલોસીમીટર અને લેન્ડર હોરીઝોન્ટલ વેલોસીટી કેમેરા

જડતા માપન: લેસર ગાયરો આધારિત જડતા સંદર્ભ અને એક્સેલરોમીટર પેકેજ

પ્રોપલ્શન સિસ્ટમ: 800N થ્રોટલેબલ લિક્વિડ એન્જિન, 58N એટીટ્યુડ થ્રસ્ટર્સ અને થ્રોટલેબલ એન્જિન કંટ્રોલ ઈલેક્ટ્રોનિક્સ
